Local Art
The Approach is the brick-and-mortar home for two local art lines—handcrafted jewelry and wearable batik art, both inspired by Yosemite and created right here in Mariposa County.
Precious Metal Designs
Mostly Sweet Jewelry
LothLorien has been creating Yosemite-inspired jewelry in Mariposa County since 2009. Each piece is handcrafted locally using sterling silver, copper, and 14k gold—some sculpted from metal clays, others cold forged with hammers, anvil, and torch.
Her designs capture the spirit of the Sierra, from delicate Half Dome pendants to intricate wildlife pieces.
